A Novel Anatomy Approach For Document Summarization
Authors: Shahnaz Khadeeja M, Afsar P
Abstract
The phenomenal growth in the number of documents posted on the Internet provides an abundant source of information as an alternative to traditional media. While current technologies are efficient in searching for appropriate documents to satisfy keyword search requests, users still have difficulty assimilating needed knowledge from the over- whelming number of documents. Hence an efficient summarization technique will be needed .In the proposed model we define task called topic anatomy, which summarizes and associates the core parts of topic temporarily so that readers can understand the content easily. The proposed topic anatomy model, called TSCAN, derives the major themes of a topic from the eigenvectors of a temporal block association matrix. Finally, the extracted events are associated through their temporal closeness and context similarity to form the evolution graph of the topic and then we can save our summary into a report format.

Abstract
According to a world health organization survey, about 75-80% of the world’s population relies on non-conventional medicine, mainly of herbal source, in their primary health care. In the past few decades, a massive amount of scientific information published for various medicinal plants. Cissampelospareira is a plant whose various parts are commonly used in various aliments. There is vast anecdotal information about the biological activity C.pareira which includes anti-cancerous, anti-fertility, anti-asthmatic, anti- diabetic, analgesic, hepatoprotective and anti- inflammatory type of activities. The leaf of C. pareira contains various phytoconstituents including alkaloids, terpenoids and flavonoids. The present review comprises the phytochemical, ethnopharmacological and pharmacological reports of C.pareira.
A Pharmacological Review: Passiflora Species
Authors: Saurabh Tiwari, Shweta Singh, Dr. Shalini Tripathi, Mr. Sunil Kumar
Abstract
Plants have been the basis of many traditional medicines throughout the world for thousands of years and have continued to provide new remedies to mankind. They are one of the richest sources of bioactive compounds. The genus Passiflora L. comprises about 520 species of dicotyledonous plants in the family Passifloraceae. Passiflora incarnata and P. alata, also commonly known as Passion flower, are two species of a perennial climbing vine with beautiful exotic flowers and delicious fruit that grow worldwide, preferring subtropical, frost- free climates. They are native to the tropical and semi-tropical United States (Virginia to Florida and as far west as Texas), Mexico, Central American, and from Brazil to Paraguay through northern Argentina. It is used extensively for treatment of some diseases like as anxiety, insomnia, convulsion, sexual dysfunction, cough and cancer. Passionflower is currently official in the national pharmacopeias of Egypt, France, Germany and Switzerland, and also mongraphed in the British Herbal Pharmacopoeia and the British Herbal Compendium, the ESCOP monographs, the Commission E, the German Standard Licenses, the German Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia, and the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States. The present article including the detailed exploration of pharmacological properties of P. incarnata is an attempt to provide a direction for further research.

Abstract
A reliable, sensitive and stability –indicating reverse phase HPLC method was developed for the determination of Rosuvastatin calcium and its lactone impurity in drug substance and pharmaceutical dosage form. Rosuvastatin calcium was fourth highest selling drug in the United States, accounting approximately $5.2 billion in the year of 2013, which is used for the treatment of hypercholesterolemia. The resolution between Rosuvastatin and lactone impurity was good with resolution factors more than 10.0. The chromatographic separation was achieved on a sunfire column C18 (250 x 4.6 mm, 5 µm) with mobile phase containing a gradient mixture of solvent-A (10 mM ammonium acetate) and solvent-B (acetonitrile: methanol (50:50 v/v)). The eluted compounds were monitored at 242 nm and the total run time was 15 minutes. Degradation behavior of the Rosuvastatin calcium was studied under various degradation stress conditions. The Limit of detection and limit of quantitation of lactone impurity was found to be 0.01µg/mL and 0.04µg/mL, respectively, for 10µL injection volume. The sample solution and mobile phase were stable for at least 48 hours. The proposed accurate method can be useful for quantification of Rosuvastatin calcium and its lactone impurity in the bulk drug substance and also dosage form.
Pharmacoeconomics: Need for the day

Abstract
Health economics shed's light on the concept of making decisions about resource allocations at the time of scarcity of resources and increased demand, by evaluating the rationale of choices in terms of their cost and benefit. Pharmacoeconomics is one of the strongest pillars of health economics to make the allocation decisions with respect to the medicines and there by ensure that society allocates minimal health care resources wisely, fairly, and efficiently. Two major components of any pharmacoeconomic evaluation are cost and consequences and using pharmacoeconomic principles, methods and theories into practice, for quantifying the value of pharmacy products and pharmaceutical care services utilized in real world environment is one of the major applications of pharmacoeconomics. The key reason for studying pharmacoeconomics is to be able to estimate, understand and interpret the complete impact of a drug therapy. Such an impact would be shown on individual's health, safety, their use of health care services, cost of health care, quality of life, functional status and on society as a whole. The price of drug therapy will be then justified based on its impact on broad range of outcomes.
