Authors are invited to submit original, high-quality scholarly manuscripts to Ernährung for consideration. The journal welcomes contributions covering Nutrition, Food Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Food Technology, Biotechnology, and Health Sciences.

We encourage researchers, academicians, scientists, healthcare professionals, and industry experts to contribute original research and innovative findings that advance scientific knowledge.

Before You Submit

Authors should ensure that:

– The manuscript represents original research or scholarly work.
– The manuscript has not been previously published.
– The manuscript is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
– All listed authors have approved the submitted version.
– The research complies with applicable ethical requirements.
– All sources, figures, tables, and data are appropriately cited.
– Any conflicts of interest are disclosed.
– The manuscript follows the journal’s formatting and submission requirements.

Manuscript Structure

Authors are recommended to organize research articles in the following order:

The structure may be adapted where appropriate for review articles, short communications, case studies, and other manuscript types.

File Preparation

Please submit the manuscript as an editable Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx, Pdff) file. Tables and figures should be clearly labeled and appropriately referenced within the manuscript.

The title page should include:

– Full manuscript title
– Full names of all authors
– Institutional affiliations
– Corresponding author’s email address

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should provide a concise overview of the research, including its objective, methodology, major findings, and conclusion.

Authors should provide 3–6 relevant keywords that accurately represent the manuscript and improve its discoverability.

Figures and Tables

All figures and tables should be numbered consecutively and cited in the manuscript text.

Figures should be submitted at suitable resolution, with clear legends and readable labels. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for copyrighted material where required.

References

References should be relevant, accurate, and consistently formatted. Authors should verify all bibliographic information before submission.

Where available, authors are encouraged to include DOIs for cited publications.

Ethics and Research Integrity

Authors must follow appropriate ethical and professional standards. Research involving human participants, animals, clinical materials, or personal data should include the relevant ethical approval or consent information where applicable.

The journal does not accept plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, or other forms of research misconduct.

Peer Review

All submitted manuscripts are subject to an initial editorial assessment. Manuscripts considered suitable for the journal may proceed to peer review.

Authors may be requested to revise their manuscript in response to editorial or reviewer comments. Acceptance is based on the scientific quality, relevance, originality, and suitability of the manuscript.

Publication Fee

The applicable publication fee is payable after acceptance and does not influence the editorial or peer-review decision.
