Abstract
Abstract

Road safety enforcement continues to be a major challenge due to rapid urbanization, increasing vehicle density, and limited availability of traffic personnel. Manual monitoring of two-wheeler riders is often inconsistent and prone to human error, resulting in unnoticed violations and ineffective enforcement. This work presents a machine learning driven automated system for detecting helmet violations and extracting vehicle number plates from video footage using deep learning and OCR. The proposed framework integrates YOLOv8 for multi-class object detection and PaddleOCR for alphanumeric text recognition, enabling accurate identification of helmetless riders and their corresponding license plates in real time. Detected violations are compiled into structured event logs and stored in Firebase, followed by automated email notifications sent to authorities for timely action. The system operates on live streams and recorded videos, supporting deployment in diverse surveillance environments. Experimental evaluation demonstrates strong detection performance under varying lighting, traffic density, and motion conditions. By minimizing manual intervention and ensuring reliable documentation, this approach offers a scalable and efficient enforcement mechanism suitable for smart city ecosystems.

Abstract
Abstract

The definition of what constitutes a replicate has somewhat different interpretations. For instance, some define a replicate as having the exact syntactic terms and sequence, whether having formatting differences or not. In effect, there are either no difference or only formatting differences and the contents of the data are exactly the same. In any case, data replication happens all the time. In large data warehouses, data replication is an inevitable phenomenon as millions of data are gathered at very short intervals. In this paper we provide a detail result analysis on the basis of our approach and the previous one.

Abstract
Abstract

The proposed system, Linux GUI Layer, is a graphical user interface framework developed to simplify and enhance user interaction with the Linux operating system. Linux is widely recognized for its stability, security, and flexibility, but it often relies heavily on command-line interfaces (CLI) for system interaction. While the CLI is powerful, it requires users to remember commands and syntax, which can be challenging for beginners and non-technical users. This limitation can discourage new users from fully adopting Linux-based systems. The Linux GUI Layer addresses this challenge by introducing a user-friendly graphical interface that allows users to perform essential system tasks using visual elements such as windows, icons, buttons, menus, and dialog boxes. Instead of manually typing commands, users can interact with the system through mouse clicks and simple selections. The GUI layer translates these graphical actions into corresponding Linux system operations and executes them transparently in the background. The system supports basic functionalities such as file management, process monitoring, system information display, and application launching. The GUI layer is designed to be lightweight, responsive, and modular, ensuring efficient performance even on systems with limited hardware resources. This project demonstrates how a GUI layer can act as an effective bridge between users and the Linux operating system, improving usability while maintaining the core strengths of Linux.

Abstract
Abstract

A 2D FIR filters is presented for denoising the digital images. Here the filter coefficients of 2D FIR filters were optimized using the Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm. To achieve the most tremendous filter design, the filter coefficients were experienced with different mask and connection types during optimization. Initially, the speckle noise with variances was added to the synthetic test image. Soon after, these noisy images were denoised with the proposed approach and other familiar filter types called noise adaptive switched median filter are used. For image quality determination metrics such as mean square error, peak signal-to-noise ratio and signal to noise ratio were used. Even if the noise having maximum variance, the proposed approach performed better than other filtering methods. This noisy image was denoised with high PSNR and SNR values. The performance of the planned approach was tested on several clinical ultrasound images such as kidney and liver tissues. As results, that the 2D FIR filters designed based on ABC optimization can eliminate speckle noise quite well on noise added test images and inherently noisy ultrasound images.

Abstract
Abstract

Some decades back, computer and its operations remained mystery to many, but now it is not so. In today’s world, almost all operations are performed in an easy way with the aid of computers and also in a highly interactive user friendly manner. Recent trends like touch screen have made human- computer interaction easy, other than this application specific software such as speech to text converters (which also makes HCI easier) are available. Speech recognition (SR) systems allow people to control computer by speaking to it through a microphone, either entering text, or issuing commands to the computer. Application systems that utilize recognition technologies, such as speech recognition, provide human-machine interface that could aid people more easily in operating system device or help those who are physically unable to interact with computers through traditional input devices such as mouse or keyboard. As we have seen, speech recognition technology is widely used between the device interfaces and human.

Abstract
Abstract

The current investigation addresses ground and surface water quality in the densely industrialized area of Dahej and surrounding villages in the Bharuch district of the Gujarat. Water samples had been collected from 16 different sources in villages of Ambheta, Jageshwar, Luvara, Lakhigam, and Dahej. These sources of water samples were either bore wells, ponds or open wells. The quality of water samples was evaluated by examining fifteen physico-chemical parameters for example turbidity, pH, electrical conductivity (EC), color, total hardness, total alkalinity, TDS(total dissolved solids), DO(dissolved oxygen), COD(chemical oxygen demand), concentration of Mg+2, SO42-, Cl-, NO3-, Ca+2as well as F-, EC and Turbidity values for all samples were found very high compared to the acceptable value. All the sixteen samples were rated as hard on the basis of total hardness and as per TDS values. They have been regarded as unsuitable for their taste. Dental fluorosis and other bone-related problems are brought on by fluoride ion concentrations greater than 1.5 mg/L. The current investigation discovered that ten among sixteen samples of water had borderline to high concentrations (as high as 7.64 mg/L) of fluoride.

Abstract
Abstract

Glaucoma is a progressive group of eye disorders that damages the optic nerve, resulting in irreversible visual field defects and potential blindness. The optic nerve transmits visual information from the eye to the brain, and its damage is often linked to elevated intraocular pressure (IOP), the primary risk factor. Normal IOP ranges from 11 to 21 mm Hg, and ocular hypertension (IOP > 21 mm Hg) raises glaucoma risk, though only a small percentage develop the condition annually. The primary types of glaucoma are categorized as open-angle glaucoma and angle-closure glaucoma. Open-angle glaucoma, the most common type, progresses gradually and is often asymptomatic until vision loss occurs. Angle-closure glaucoma is a medical emergency, characterized by symptoms such as blurred vision, severe eye pain, nausea, and halos around lights, requiring urgent treatment. Glaucoma causes retinal ganglion cell axon damage, leading to ganglion cell death, optic nerve atrophy, and vision loss. In India, glaucoma contributes to 12.8% of blindness cases, affecting 11.9 million people with blindness and 8.9 million with vision impairment. Females and the elderly are more prone to the condition due to hormonal, genetic, and age-related factors. Additionally, patients with diabetes, hypertension, or cardiovascular issues face higher glaucoma risks due to vascular and microvascular changes in the optic nerve. Timolol, a widely used glaucoma medication, effectively lowers IOP and is cost-efficient and safe. Regular eye exams and early detection are vital to preventing vision loss, especially in high-risk groups.
