Abstract
Abstract

The traditional medicine system is gaining wider popularity in the present times leading to increase in its commercialization at an international level. Ayurveda can serve as an excellent template for the development of nanomedicine for human theragnostics. Nanoparticals are colloidal systems with particles verying in size from 10 nm to 100 nm. The nano formulations are reportated to have remarkable advantages over respective crude drugs preparations and conventional formulations of plant actives or extracts which includes enhancement of solubility, bioavaibility, protection from toxicity, enhancement of pharmacological activity, reduction in dose enhancement of stability, improved tissue macrophages distribution, sustained delivery and protection from physical and chemical degradation. The present study shows that traditional medicines may hold strong relevance in the emerging era of nanomedicine. Thus nano sized novel drug delivery system of herbal drugs has a potential future for enhancing the activity and overcoming problem associative with herbals.

Pages: 01–05
DOI: 13.3765/je-2026-476
Abstract
Abstract

People with visual disabilities are often dependent on external assistance as support systems for decision making. The main problem with visually challenged people is how to navigate their way to wherever they want to go. As described by WHO, 10% of the visually impaired have no functional eyesight at all to help them move around without assistance and safely. This project is designed to help the blind people to overcome the lack of visual sense, by using other senses like sound and touch. The system uses Raspberry Pi, which is a high performance microcontroller for sensing the objects. The system uses a Convolutional Neural Network. The sensor module is designed to measure the distance using the principle of contour of objects. The system also consists of a microphone to generate a digital voice. The system uses the feed from camera to notify the user about upcoming hurdle. This system also enables the user to read books and newspaper using Optical Character Recognition. The proposed model also provides navigating an object. This project system offers a low-cost, reliable, portable, low power consumption and robust solution for navigation with obvious short response time.

A Review: Dry Emulsion

Authors: Vidya Dange, Shubhangi Shid, Dr. C.S. Magdum Dr. S.K. Mohite, Dr. M.M. Nitalikar

Article Type: Research Article

Pages: 01–03
DOI: 13.3765/je-2026-477
Abstract
Abstract

The dry Emulsion formulation aim to improve the bioavailability of drug substances and reduce their side effects. Dry Emulsions are attractive because they are physically and microbiologically stable formulations. They represent a potential oral drug delivery system for lipophilic and low soluble drug substances. Dry emulsions are prepared by drying liquid o/w emulsions containing a solid carrier in the aqueous phase. The solid carrier provides the dry emulsions with bulk and mass.. Dry emulsions can be prepared by spray drying, lyophilization and rotary evaporation. Unfortunately the dry emulsions were cohesive powders. The cohesiveness are reduced by addition of sucrose. For preparing dry Emulsions the organic fillers used are Lactose, Mannitol, Malto-dextrins.

Abstract
Abstract

Mg-Sm nano ferrites having the chemical formula Mg Sm x Fe2-x O4 (Where x = 0,0.025,0.050,0.075,0.100) have been citrate-gel auto-combustion technique were analyzed through various experimental techniques. XRD analysis confirmed single-phase cubic spinel structure while FTIR spectroscopic analysis displayed two absorption peaks that are characteristic of spinel nano ferrites. UV-visible spectral analysis was carried out to study the optical absorption behavior of the prepared ferrites.

DOI: 13.3765/je-2026-479
Abstract
Abstract

“Find me” is an electronic wearable device which is used to track Alzheimer patients live location and comes with an emergency situation option which helps them to send their location or give a call to the emergency contact. OLED display flashes a message frequently saying “Click here if you are lost” which helps the unstable patient to send their location through SMS. As a recent report says Alzheimer patients are drawn to flashing lights, our device which flashes messages will attract their attention in some way and helps them to either call or send their location to an emergency contact. The heart of this device is a NEO-6M GPS chip which can track up to 22 satellites on 50 channels and achieves the industry’s highest level of sensitivity i.e. - 161 dB tracking, while consuming only 45mA supply current. One of the best features the chip provides is Power Save Mode (PSM). ESP32 SIM 800L has an integrated GSM module which helps in sending message to the emergency contact.

A Parameter Uniform Numerical Method for a system of n Singularly Perturbed Robin type Initial Value Problems with Discontinuous Source Terms

Authors: S. Dinesh, M. Joseph Paramasivam

Article Type: Research Article
Published: May 2026
Pages: 01–17
DOI: 13.3765/je-2026-480
Abstract
Abstract

In this paper, a system of n singularly perturbed robin type initial value problems with discontinuous source terms is considered. The derivative component of each equation in the system is multiplied by a same singular perturbation parameter ε. A piecewise uniform Shishkin mesh is constructed and used, in conjunction with a classical finite difference scheme to form a numerical method for solving this problem. It is proved that the numerical approximations generated by this method are essentially first order convergent in the maximum norm at all points of the domain, uniformly with respect to the singular perturbation parameter. Numerical results are presented in support of the theory.

Abstract
Abstract

Nanorobotics is emerging field of a nanotechnology having nanoscale dimensions and is predictable to work at an atomic, molecular and cellular level. Nanorobot skeleton is made up of carbon and its toolkit contains components like medicine cavity containing medicine, microcamera, payload, capacitor and swimming tail. As nanorobots have special sensors i.e. physical or chemical which detect the target molecules in the human body can be used for the diagnosis and treatment of various vital diseases i.e. cancer, diabetes, atherosclerosis, hemophilia, kidney stones, etc. Nanorobots till date are under the line of investigation, but some primary molecular models of these medically programmable machines have been tested. This review on nanorobots presents the various aspects allied i.e. introduction, history, ideal characteristics, Approaches in Nanorobotics ,basis for the development, tool kit recognition and retrieval from the body, application considering diagnosis and treatment.
