A Dual Input Buck Converter With One Cycle Control For Efficient Utilization Of Solar Power
Authors: Krishnapriya, Sakker Hussain C K
Abstract
Renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic (PV) solar energy and wind energy rely heavily on the climate and weather conditions. As a consequence, the available power is intermittent and stochastic. So, multiple renewable energy sources that are mutually complementary could be combined to maintain continuous power delivery to the load. Such a system is referred to as a hybrid power system. In hybrid power systems, the use of a MIC instead of several single-input converters has a simpler circuit and lower cost. However, the MIC is a typical multiple-input multiple-output coupling system and has many operating modes under the power management strategy, so the closed-loop design is complicated. This work proposed and evaluated a new power circuit that can deal with the problem of the intermittent nature and slow response of the renewable energy. The proposed circuit integrates different renewable energy sources with energy storage devices .This paper explains an one cycle control method for MIC which is simpler compared to other control methods. The working of OCC is explained in details. It is seen that with OCC, no current regulator is required, and the design conditions of the output voltage regulator in different operating modes are the same. Thus, control design is simple.

Abstract
The vehicle chassis frame is an important part of an automobile. The chassis frame is the main structure of any vehicle. The main function of chassis frame is to support the body, different parts of an automobile and two longitudinal side members placed on it. The chassis frame has to withstand the stresses as well as deformation occurs in it and to withstand the shock, twist vibration and other stresses. The function is to carry the maximum load for all designed and operating conditions safely and it exists within a limit. On the chassis frame has maximum shear stress and deflection under maximum load. In this project, have calculated the stress (von mises) and shear stress, for the chassis frame also safety factor for safe design and the validation of design for martial, section of frame and shape on life periods will be calculated by fatigue life. Finite element analysis has been done for validation of the chassis frame model. We have taken material as Mild sheet steel for “C” Channel section, with varying the section of rectangular hollow box, “I” Section, and “O” Section to design chassis frame of an SUV. For Analysis using ANSYS 14.0. Software used in this project:-Solid work for design purpose and ANSYS 14 is used for analysis.

Abstract
The use of alternative materials in becoming increasingly important in various engineering fields. In this way, present study indicates the possibilities of reinforcing aluminium alloy (Al6061) with locally available inexpensive rice husk ash for developing a new material. 4, 8 & 12% of a rice husk ash particle were used by weight to develop metal matrix composite. This can be done by liquid metallurgy route. Where they are sustainable, high performance, or simply lower cost alternatives often have some different characteristics that can be appealing in some way. Metal matrix composites (MMCs) constitute in important category of design and weight efficient materials, this research project is ultimately sought to determine an alternative material for disk brake rotor. In this article we fabricate aluminium (Al6061) matrix composite reinforced with rice husk ash (RHA) with a large amount of silica contain. This can be done by stir casting. The report gives the results that it decreases the density and increases yield strength, ultimate strength and hardness of the composite.

Abstract
Main target of this paper is to improve monitoring performance of rotating equipments with the help of sensor networks. We focus on high accurate methods of vibration and displacement measurements needed for diagnostics of engineering structures like Pipelines/injection pumps, Pipeline/injection compressors, Turbines, Heaters, Boilers, Dams, and Bridges etc. How monitoring nodes and sink node work under monitoring software by taking inputs from vibration methods. Also discuss about how we transplanting Tiny Operating System in monitoring nodes and sink nodes. These monitoring nodes gather/ retrieve multimedia information such as video and audio, images, scalar data from surroundings. Telnet and Web server are used as a remote control tools.
