A Novel Integrated Buck-Buckboost High Stepdown Power Factor Correction Converter For Low Voltage Applications
Authors: Minu Amala Susan, Arun Sebastian
Abstract
Power factor correction of high frequency switch mode power supply and its application in dc motor speed control is presented in this thesis. A high step-down transformer less single- stage single-switch ac/dc converter is designed. The topology integrates a buck-type power-factor correction (PFC) cell with a buck–boost dc/dc cell for output voltage regulation. It is a one-stage one-switch AC/DC converter which steps down the voltage without a transformer. It combines a buck type PFC cell with a buck-boost type DC/DC cell. Two capacitors are sharing the voltage. Part of the input power is directly coupled to the output. With the above features it is able to achieve a high power factor, efficient power conversion, low intermediate bus voltage less than 130V and low output voltage without a transformer. This reduces the cost and size. Finally a DC motor load is applied and simulation results are presented..Simulation is done in MATLAB/SIMULINK.

Authors: Sainaba. K. Shahul, Obi Jose
Abstract
In video surveillance and realistic security, video based human re-identification plays a paramount aspect. Here, we proffer an eXtended Center-Symmetric version of local binary pattern (XCS-LBP) description for background modelling and subduction in videos and also uses scale invariant factor transform algorithm helps us to find out and extract shape difference regions and their location. Using those features we can re- identify person. Extensive researches are handle on two criterion public re-identification datasets including SDALF and SARC3D clearly shows that the intended schema for human re-identification using background subtraction and SIFT aspect fulfill the state of the art for video based re-identification significantly.
Analysis of Routing Algorithm in MANETs Based on SRRA
Authors: Manjunath M, Dr. Manjaiah D.H
Abstract
Due to limited transmission range and limited battery constraints of mobile nodes in Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET), routing in MANET becomes challenging especially when certain QoS requirements such as high data packet delivery ratio, low end to end delay and low routing overhead are to be satisfied. Even though a number of routing protocols have been proposed aiming to provide better network life time but none of them provide all these requirements at the same time. In this research article, we propose Stipulated Region Based Routing algorithm (SRRA) which reduces overhead, end to end delay and eliminate redundant nodes that participated during route discovery process. The proposed SRR routing algorithm provides high packet delivery ratio and throughput when compare to AODV routing algorithm. The proposed SRR algorithm is simulated in NS 2.35 and the results show that our SRR algorithm performs better than AODV routingalgorithm.
Analysis of a Single Input Z-Source DC-DC Converter
Authors: Aswathy R, Rani S
Abstract
This paper is related to investigate characteristics and performance of a single input Z-source dc/dc converter which boosts the input voltage to a higher output voltage. Zsourcestructure increases the reliability of the converter. Operating principles of the Z-sourcedc-dc converter is described by current and voltage waveforms of the components and mathematical expressions.Waveforms obtained and mathematical expressions areconfirmed by simulations.

Abstract
One of the most prevalent types of metabolic syndrome is type 2 diabetes which is the cause of mortality. It also affects the physical, mental, social and economic condition. One of the six traditional Indian philosophical systems that outlines the optimum way to live is yoga. Kripalavanandji swami has given various yogic practices which includes asana, pranayama, shatkarma, bandh and diet for specific diseases.Yoga seems beneficial and less economic in treating diabetes mellitus 2 patients.
