Analytical Study On Seismic Behaviour Of High Rise Building Using Different Load Resisting Method
Authors: Kumar Anupam, Mr. Md. Tasleem
Abstract
Height of the building has now become the primary point of focus of today’s world. Since buildings are getting taller and slender the primary concern of design engineers is shifting from gravity loads to lateral loads. The effect of lateral forces becomes more and more dominant as the building becomes taller and taller. These lateral forces can produce critical stresses in the structure, induce undesirable stresses and vibrations or cause excessive lateral sway of the structure. In this project a, G+16 storey building, along with shear wall and two different types of bracing is considered for analysis. The performance of building will be evaluated on the basis of following parameters –Storey displacement, Storey drift, Base shear. In this work, the shear walls and bracings are provided at corner with the overall analysis to be carried out using ETABS software.
Literature Review of Business Intelligence
Authors: Shubhi Jain, Anu Sharma
Abstract
Business Intelligence (BI) is a term that refers to the set of technologies, architectures, practices, applications and processes for the collection, integration, analysis, and presentation of business information that drives profitable business actions. BI is considered to have a significant impact on businesses. The primary purpose of the Business Intelligence is to enhance decision making capability. BI tools help us to perform data analysis and create summaries, dashboards, maps, graphs, charts and reports to provide users with detailed intelligence about the nature of the business. A critical part of BI systems is a properly performing implementation of the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) process. In this paper, I will do the literature review that how Business Intelligence System helps in enhancing decision-making capability, readiness in meeting new business challenges, and identifying every hidden cost.
PMT-SSA : Parallel Mirror Technique Based Salp Swarm Optimization Algorithm For Engineering Applications
Authors: Sudhir Sharma, Shivani Mehta, Nitesh Kumar Joshi
Abstract
This paper proposes improved version of existing salp swarm algorithm (SSA) using recently developed opposition-based learning method called parallel mirrors technique (PMT). The improved version of SSA i.e. PMT-SSA is tested on 7 unimodal and 6 multimodal mathematical benchmark functions. The developed algorithm is further applied to solve economic load dispatch problem in power system. The results compared with SSA algorithm verify the superiority of PMT-SSA in solving optimization problems.
Ultrasonic Investigations of Molecular Interactions of Binary Liquid Mixture of Diethylenetriamine (DETA) with 2-Ethoxy Ethanol at temperature 296 K at frequencies 1MHZ, 3MHZ & 5MHZ
Author: Sarwade M. P.
Abstract
Viscosity ( ), Density ( ) and Ultrasonic velocity (U) of the binary system of Diethylenetriamine (DETA) and 2-Ethoxy Ethanol are measured over entire composition range. These measurements are done at constant temperature 296 K and at frequencies 1MHZ, 3MHZ & 5MHZ. The acoustic parameters computed using these data values are intermolecular free length ( ), Rao constant ( ), Wada’s constant ( ), adiabatic compressibility ( ), excess intermolecular free length ( ), excess adiabatic compressibility ( ) and excess ultrasonic velocity ( ). These parameters have to be interpreted in terms of intermolecular interactions at frequencies 1MHZ, 3MHZ & 5MHZ at constant temperature296K. This work aims to evolve the impact of ultrasonic sound over the molecular interaction of binary liquid mixture quoted above at the said conditions.
