Abstract
Abstract

Almost 80% of a viable & Army airframe is made of aluminium alloys. It is predictable that the usage of aluminium alloy is to upsurge up to 70% by the year 2025. They are mainly used because of their high strength to weight ratio. This project presents a study of the cutting tool performance of an CNMG Carbide & VNMG carbide tool in operation on Al 7075, in which the volume of material removed and surface roughness were investigated. The machining tests were conducted on a CNC lathe machine to obtain the MRR and surface roughness of the Aluminium Alloy 7075 work piece material. The average surface roughness (Ra) was measured using a Mitutoyo surface roughness tester. The effect of these cutting constraints on each of these variables was examined, as well as the possible interrelation between them. The experimental results showing that the mechanical effects, produced by the feed, should not be neglected against the thermal effects, produced by the cutting speed, within the range of the tested cutting speed.

Abstract
Abstract

Traffic congestion is the primary cause that has an impact on the community’s economy, climate and quality of life. In this study, an approach is developed to the analyse the 1traffic conditions at different junctions in Visakhapatnam. It is necessary to identify the reason for traffic congestion and to evaluate traffic patterns in order to take the most suitable steps for each location to minimise traffic congestion and effectively and efficiently implement countermeasures. In this study, five areas were identified: Kommadi junction, Car shed, Yendada junction, Hanumanthawaka, Maddilapalem, and studies of traffic volume and spot speed were conducted. The degree of service is calculated by using the free flow velocity equation in the Highway Capacity Manual based on different variables such as lane width and peak hour variables at these junctions. The standard of service and was obtained in some roads in all the junctions due to geometric problems and heavy traffic on different occasions such as weekends and festivals. Based on current conditions in the area, potential interventions have been suggested.

First and Last Mile Connectivity for Bus Line

Abstract
Abstract

Demand for the public transport sector in Indian cities is increasing continuously. The Government of India has offered a number of transport systems such as Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS), Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), and Light Rail Transit (LRT) in every transport city to mark these demands. However, the connectivity of the first and last mile point is not designed properly, so public transport riders lag behind. The purpose of this study is to identify the mode preference behavior of passengers for first and last-mile travel for Ahmedabad BRTS users and to propose feeder transit for first and last-mile connectivity. The travel option model for first- and last-mile travel is determined using a multinomial logit model and a home interview survey. It also examines disparities in selection behavior between youth and other age groups. The results of this study may enhance bus line ridership and improve the physical environment for first-to- last-mile connectivity through intermediate para transit (IPT) such as walking, auto-rickshaws, and e- rickshaws (battery operated). Intermediate Para Transit (IPT) is a part of a holistic transportation service provider for services to align transportation routes and regulations, and perfect for improving an enterprise infrastructure for safe and personal riding for pedestrians.
